I don't know what they did, but I did get another T3 timeout last night. It was almost exactly the same time as the last one on the 16th. I was not online to see what happened, but the modem status indicates there was an outage.
I was curious because there is one of those 2 houses down from me, whereas my line comes off of a 2 port tap feeding my house & next door which is fed by that. So you are right off that one. Anyone else seeing those issue like you?
Nobody else that I know is experiencing this issue. The one neighbor that is closest to me with Comcast is at his out of town house, so he has not been home to let me know if it is happening to him. I am not sure who else has Comcast close to me.
I'm sure the techs here can easily answer any questions about what's in there, but I was curious if they distribute by 2s or 4s, etc. which might give you an idea which neighbors being on the same tap might have issues. Hopefully someone will chime in.
I guess it was not a problem with the amplifier.
