Who knows latin? How do you say 'surfer beware'?
As with most things in life, one has to research things on their own and not trust the word of companies who are and will do/say anything to make a profit. Who the heck is Aluria anyways?

Re: Who knows latin? They create spyware detection software, for AOL and others.

Re: Who knows latin?said by E_V:Read the article >proclaims that Aluria (the company that makes AOL's iffy spwyare detection software) it was more of a question of, does anyone care about them vs. not knowing what they did!

Re: Who knows latin? If they're providing spyware scanning service for AOL's millions of members, why wouldn't you care that they're doing an incomplete job?

Re: Who knows latin?Yes, ok, but the money they make off of those AOL users keeps ad/spyware companies in business so they can irritate the rest of us.....

Re: SolutionWhenU is easy to get rid of. [i did it manually], but the eXact spyware is impossible to get rid of and no anti-spyware is detecting them yet. deleting them and they just come back. nls.exe, and their upload/download .exes also come back if you try to get rid of them. why isn't anyone detecting them yet. i believe they're part of the navisearch spyware.
