Little red barn, actually a BIG red barn, 4 stories. This old place was just begging to be shot. :) Thanks for viewing.

What lens are you using? 10mm on 5D? Looks cropped, but great shot!

The lens is the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, it doesn't work properly on this camera, I use it on the XT just fine but the FF of the 5d and the way I have to mount it makes an unexceptional amount of barrel distortion, which is another reason it looks cropped because it is, I did a lot of lens correction work in Photoshop to try to straighten it up.

I was thinking the same thing - they're actually still storing hay in that ramshackle building:) Looks like someone started a paint job too. Vivid and interesting:)

Nice shot.

Common sight around here. Love the old barns, so much history and beauty.

I didn't think you could mount an EF-S lens on a FF sensor camera at all...if you had a 17-40 f/4L why would you want to crop out all the distortion you'd get when using an EF-S 10-22mm?

A friend of mine tried to make a conversion ring (POS) :) to mount EF-S lenses onto his 5D. I told him I would like to try it with my EF-S 10-22mm because I thought the results of it on a FF camera would be interesting if we could get it to work. On the day we were out shooting he broke it out and asked if I had my 10-22mm with me. I shot this and one other with it and neither of them were even close to anything like I had hoped. Using the ring the lens wouldn't lock onto the camera and you could easily drop it off the cam if you didn't hold it just right. lol so two shots was enough for me, I was afraid of damaging something with it.
