Great shot! I love that he has crawled up on top of the corn cob. I can't say that I've seen fresh corn used like this before. I'll bet it would be a popular food.

take 1 jar of Louisiana hot sauce pour into a 1 qt garden spray bottle add water. Spray that on any and all non seed bird feeders [like corncobs millet sprays etc...] and if not treated already add a liberal amount of hot pepper flakes and cayenne pepper to seed feed. This guarantees that pesky rodents [mice, rats, squirrels] and even larger mammals like opossums and raccoons will leave your bird feeders alone! Capsaicin activates the nerve endings that cause the "heat" reaction in spicy foods birds actually receive the opposite effect.
