Painting With Light :Experimental: Thanks for viewing.

This is a new technique I've been dreaming of and working on for a short while now. I call it Painting With Light, extremely hard work but something I believe you will see a lot more of in photography in the future. The key is to use the proper ISO, long shutter delay that doesn't under or overexpose and paint everything with a light that you want to show up in the frame within the time the shutter is open. We used colored glow sticks to illuminate the inside of the windows and a 2 million candle power spot light and large maglite to paint the scene we wanted to be visible in the shot. This technique has some great potential and I'm going to be experimenting with it in depth from time to time.

I have never seen it done to this extreme. Most times it's with small close objects. This is an amazing new area you are going into. Could be a watershed moment for you and other photographers. Groundbreaking image. Can't wait to see more.

I like it and wouldn't mind trying something like this when I finally get a camera capable of a long shutter delay.

I've been waiting for this. It looks like the experiment was a total success. I'm floored that you got all of the "painting" done in under 30 seconds. I can't wait to see more.

Don't tell me that you just happened to get a meteor during your 30 seconds. Is there a strategically placed horseshoe somewhere in your household?
