 | I made a return visit to Wastwater in Cumbria, the lake is 3 miles long, half a mile wide and 260 feet deep, and the deepest of all the lakes. hey mods · » Monday March 28th, @12:16PM

 | I had to google it because at first glance, I thought it read "wastewater" and I have to admit I was a bit curious of a photo that had nothing to do with waste. Beautiful place - »en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wast_Water. I seem to remember hearing of this park in a recent movie - "Miss Potter", a film about Beatrix Potter. When she died in 1943, In her will, Potter left almost all of her property to the National Trust 4,000 acres (16 km²) of land, cottages, and 15 farms. The legacy has helped ensure that the Lake District and the practice of fell farming remain unspoiled. Her properties now lie within the Lake District National Park. hey mods · » Monday March 28th, @01:59PM

 | Once again I am humbled by the beauty of your neck of the woods and equally by your ability to capture it so masterfully. I think we need to add "awesome" to the ratings... - Taylorhey mods · » Monday March 28th, @03:19PM

 | In my head, I've added awesome to Pete's images long ago. To live with such beauty all around would truly set my heart a humming even more. Seeing images such as these of the area does. hey mods · » Monday March 28th, @05:55PM
