I wouldn't call it a weed, but they are a little gangly.

I've also shot this species several times, in various stages of openness.

The difficulty is with the shiny film of liquid on the petals. It readily causes blowouts, as you can see.

Weed can be subjective, but it is an invasive species. Patches of them can look quite nice out in the wilderness. In your own yard they can be a nuisance.

I think some blowout is acceptable since it helps convey the waxy look of the petals.

To me, anything that grows without my help is great. I love weeds with lovely little flowers, just so they're not in my yard. This one would not be as telling as it is were it not for that special look from that waxy petal.
