 | I was on my way up from Dorset to South Wales and I thought it would be worth stopping off at the henge. We got there late in the afternoon and it was chock a block with tourists, which was to be expected I suppose.I was not prepared to stand in a queue for hours on end,so I decided to take this snap through the perimeter fence,it didn't turn out too bad after erasing a few tourists that were in the frame.Would have loved a low perspective of the henge, but that would have meant pre booking a visit outside of the normal opening times, either early morning or late evening.Ah never mind, perhaps I'll get the chance another time.More info can be found here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stonehen

| Beautiful shot. I will be taking my first trip to England at the end of this month. Unfortunately I won't get to see this, but you have done an amazing job. hey mods · » Tuesday November 5th, @04:07PM

| Love the shot. Unfortunately I am so old that I can remember when there was no perimeter fence could actually walk into the stones and touch them. I stopped there about 4 years ago and it was so cold and misty that my pictures were not that great.hey mods · » Saturday November 23rd, @01:23AM
