Pistolpete
The birds you see on the Giraffe are known as Oxpeckers,they feed on ticks, flies, lice and worms that can be extracted from the fur of domestic cattle, buffalos, rhinos, giraffes and large antelopes. They produce either scissoring or pecking motion to collect the food from the fur.They also enter the Giraffes ears to get to the tasty ear wax,yum,yum :)

Really nice shot. Those little birds are a God send for so many in countries with animals of this sort. They really are helpful in ridding nuisance bugs etc. away.
