| The premise of taking photos of lightning is easy. Wait for lightning, take lots of long exposures, and hope for the best.
After about an hour, this is what I ended up with. I got lots of OK shots, and no truly great ones, but this one decent strike stuck out. |

 | Actually, it has had a bit of noise reduction put on it. I took the photo right before sunset, so there was still plenty of light. It was a longer exposure, around 4 seconds, I believe. There was so much lightning that night I had to try to catch some of it. I got a few other bolts, but this was by far the best. hey mods · » Saturday July 10th, @01:05PM
