Firepower in the Desert. Note: One M1 Tank has enough ammo and capabilities to level a small to medium City. In this little Digital Art piece there is some serious hurt for the receiving end. I am an Ex Army Tanker w/ 1st Armored Div & 24th Infantry Div.

We have another Ex Tanker who visits this forum (he tested the M1 when it was still a prototype.) Can't remember the name, though.

Welcome!

I'm curious why you went with neon green for the ground color. It seems a bit bright and really doesn't go with a desert theme. I totally respect the power and capabilities of tanks and choppers like these, but I wish we could invest our money and other resources into other pursuits. War is not cool in my opinion.

1.DnnsMenace- Sorry, but I strongly disagree with any war as being cool. Maybe you meant to write something different than that. War is not cool.
2.LitteredMind- Thanks for the info. I have noticed another member, I thought his DSLR name was something like....Us 1st Cav, I may be wrong, but there are several very talented people here.
3.overhill- You are right on the money. I was trying to use a desert land color scheme to render with this, but it camouflaged my vehicles too much, so I chose an Erie looking effect, so as not too wash out my land vehicles. I also agree with you too, on war not being cool. War is never cool.
noe_1- Thanks for the compliment.

That would be me!
And preparing for war isn't any fun either.Especially when I was in during the Cold-war.Always gone, and never with my family(It's hard on the Soldier, and hard on the family). :(
Here's a slide I scanned of my tank.

I don't care for the picture but thats because I don't care for war.

But I do Thank each and every one of you and your families for doing what you did for our Country.

As a piece of art work, it's quite interesting. Aside from not being the stick figure scenery my hubby used to draw all the time depicting what he used to draw during WWII, it looks a lot like his war scenes. I don't like war either, but I do recognize this for being a piece of art, and whatever is art in the eye of the person making it is fine with me. I don't care for the color either, but the image is still sharp and true.
