its already well known that Fiber brings faster speeds than trash docsis.

NG PON 2 will bring speeds of like 40GBPS ... 10gbps (on a single wavelength )

that's like cell phone companies saying we know 5g is current and fast technology but we gonna stick with EVDO 1x for years cause we like it and the network is already there ..

could you imagine cell phones still on EVDO 1x ... that's the same as keeping POS docsis ..

abandon it and go FTTH

is everyone is on fiber then everyone will have better broadband .

i could be wrong but the countries with faster broadband thatn USA user FTTH. and not docsis.
