What have they attacked? Or what RIGHTS have we lost since this perceived attack? We can go back and forth as many times as you like on who pushed the censorship agendas or who was being favored, etc.. Both seem to hold no records and how many times was section 230 up for discussion and each side cried like sissys over one side was being favored. But if you really want to dig into who wants to control what, remember the "internet kill switch" debate? A Liberal and a Conservative wanted to pass a bill that would limit executive authority to be able to shut the internet down. It's kind of complex but it was clear, it was an authority that could be abused. But I'm sure in 1934, they had no idea the "internet" as we know it today would be such a monster.
