Re: Elon Musk offers to buy Twitter for $43B and take private

said by P Ness:

Man the right wants it both ways

First you want liberal media sued to death for printing false stories and accusing people without the facts, then you want them to automatically print stories about a random laptop that shows up with a very fishy back story.

So which is it?

I simply provided factual info. TWITTER was the one preventing posts to links about what would be impeachment material back during the orange years. Are you saying it's ok not to allow people to be informed about issues that could compromise our national security and the white house or are you saying it's ok to not report news worthy events as long as it doesn't put liberals in a bad light? SO, I guess we can put the laptop story to bed with that 3+ year run on "Russian collusion"?

Which is it?

As far as Sandmann, that's a good example where the PRESS, not social media, deserved to get their asses sued off. They just didn't print ONE story, they ran with it for weeks. Not sure where you get this "story" shit. It was on all the major tv networks. Hold them accountable. Social media, aka, Twitter, Facebook, why do they deserve protections? They are not the press so the moment they pick and choose what they want to allow, they don't deserve protections from liability, because they are not the press. Maybe that's what it will take to get them to stop the leaning any direction. That's why Musk's attempt to take over Twitter is more then just news. You and I both know as soon as he did, and the there was no alleged censorship, as soon as the right got butt hurt or left got blasted, one side would be screaming REGULATION and 230 protections, all over again.
